What Do You Get With Tidewater as a Concrete Sub?
General contractors get one 3-person crew for footers, block foundations and slabs, priced per linear foot or per square foot so the numbers drop straight into a bid. We keep foundations, garage floors and pole barn floors going through the winter, with MHIC license #165168 and $1M/$2M insurance.
Scopes We Take On
Scopes we take on as a sub include footers and block foundations, garage and pole barn floors, driveways, sidewalks and porches, stamped concrete, retaining walls and brick veneer. Our Services page lists each one.
Working Around Your Crew
Working around your crew is part of the job. On one recent garage, the contractor dug the footer and we poured it, laid the block and poured the slab.
Pricing You Can Bid With
Pricing you can bid with is per unit: block foundations from $50 per linear foot at 5 courses with the footer included, garage floors from about $9.25 per square foot at 4 inches, and pole barn floors from about $5.83 per square foot on large slabs. Each job still gets a formal quote after we see the site.
Winter Scheduling
Winter scheduling is where a concrete sub can make or break your timeline. Foundations, garage floors and pole barn floors keep going in the cold months, and our post on winter concrete work explains why.
What We Need to Quote Your Job
To quote your job we need the plans or the dimensions, the site address, your schedule, and who’s handling excavation. With those, we can price the work per unit and give you a formal quote after seeing the site.
Insurance and Paperwork
Insurance and paperwork are ready when you need them. We carry $1M/$2M commercial general liability coverage and can provide a certificate of insurance. Use our Contact page to send plans or a scope.
